Errors in event viewer

Hi,

I have stared to get errors in my event viewer. They are as follows:

1. Idle power management features on processor 11 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.

2. The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1903&SUBSYS_09C51028&REV_03\3&11583659&1&20.

3. The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000be (0xfffff8060f3bcc90, 0x010000000433f121, 0xfffffa0b5d73f190, 0x000000000000000b). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 6cc8fa61-ed60-4d77-81c2-dc9e3b598c4c.

I should also be noted that the 1st error listed also has errors for 'processor  0-11 in group 0' so that's a total of 12 errors for that.

The system just locked on me and rebooted whilst I was online for no reason, there was a slight buzzing from the tower prior to this happening

Always post the PC model number on any initial problem post.   Makes a difference for someone to try and help you.

I was logged into my account and the model number and service tag numbers were readily available. I was under the impression that technical support would pick up on that.

Looks like I'll have to start again

This is not a direct line to Dell support.  We are mostly users helping users on this forum.

The ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY bug check has a value of 0x000000BE.

This is issued if a driver attempts to write to a read-only memory segment.

PCI VEN_8086 DEV_1903  is INTEL Management Engine Serial Over LAN

@Davejo  Have you read this and this ?

Are all your PC's drivers up-to-date?

What model computer? My new computer has the same "firmware needed" error since I got the computer 3 months ago.  I could not find an answer except to ignore it.

Hi Mary

Mine is the Dell XPS 8940. Got it in January this year.

All

My drivers are up to date as I ran the Dell Update program. My firmware was updated in the last update. There is nothing outwardly wrong with the PC but those errors should not be there.

If you have updated the BIOS, take out the CMOS battery to reset the motherboard.  I did this and it cleared things up.
