XPS 8930, test boot from new SSD

Greetings,

My PC is an XPS 8930 with a single solid-state drive slot (M.2 SSD).

I have cloned (data migrated) the current OS (C:) (256 GB) to a new SSD (1 TB) using the Magician. The new SSD is a 990 PRO and is currently in a USB Enclosure. So OS (E:) and ESP (F:) is what a see on 'This PC' after cloning. I would like to test that the PC boots from the new SSD before replacing the old SSD and making the new one an internal drive.

How can I do that?

Regards,

Press F12 when power on pc and select UEFI: USB 990 Pro.  Your cloned boot drive is E:

if it works swap it with internal C: boot drive

@redxps630

I can try to boot from the external drive but I get stop code 0x7B which is Inaccessible_Boot_Device. I then looked, using Disk Manager and diskpart, and the 'cloned' ssd does not look anything like the source ssd. The Magician will not clone the disk.
