Windows 7 AS501 Speaker Driver update
I recently had an issue with a Windows update that caused my monitor to automatically go to sleep when logging in on regular mode, so I temporarily switch to Safe Mode where I had no sound. I ended up having to take the whole unit to a Microsoft store where they fixed the monitor problem and downloaded new drivers for the sound.
Now when I click on the speaker I have few settings and everything sounds tinny. (sp?) I tried to download a driver update but it failed. Any suggestions?

There has to be a number after "XPS"...
This is an XPS 8700. The AS501 soundbar is connected to an unidentified monitor. We cannot know which driver the Microsoft store technician installed. But the Dell OEM Windows 7 Realtek ALC3861 driver is here.
