XPS 8390, video issue
I have two fully updated (Drivers, BIOS, and Windows 10 Professional) Dell XPS 8930.
When I open any video (a pop up in the browser, a video from the internet or from any player) the monitors connected to the video card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070) turn off and no signal is transmitted anymore. So I have to force the shutdown.
Any idea? I have reinstalled Windows but the problem did not go away.
Thanks

What browser, and have you tried a different browser?
Have you read: How to Fix Black Screen When Playing Videos on Windows 10 ?

@dadorotondo Did you reinstall Windows on both XPS 8930 PCs? I would have first tried to row back any recent Windows updates or driver updates.

Did you do a fresh clean install of Windows 10 when you “reinstalled” OS?
Curious when you had a black screen during video playback, did you still hear normal audio playing associated with the video you can not see?

I reinstalled windows several times (from the windows reset settings section) and it didn't work, but yesterday I redid the operation from the support assist at pc startup (before starting windows) downloading the o.s. online and it seems to work! Obviously I had always performed a clean install always deleting my data and settings.
It happened with all browsers and with all players! I can not tell you if the sound kept going because it is a pc to which I have not connected the speakers, I use it to work.
Now I install the software to work and update you!
Thanks!
