XPS 8500, GT 1030
I know I made a similar post to this earlier but now I'd like to know if the GT 1030 would fit in the XPS 8500. I currently have the XPS 8500 GT 620 model. It fits with the PSU minimum but I need to know if it would fit in the XPS 8500. The GT 620 is L 5.7 H 2.7 and the GT 1030 is L 4.72 and H 6.68 Thanks for reading this post hope I can get an answer soon! Ethan

A real GT 1030 works fine. Secure boot must be OFF and Legacy option roms ON.
GT 1050 and GT 1050 TI also work fine.
Fake cards don't work at all.

Fake cards are not a joke.
I once got a hard drive from best buy and when I got home the box had a cut piece of 2 x 4 inside.
When I went back they accused me of trying to steal from them.
I got the manager and went to the shelf where there were 8 more drives and demanded to "Buy" them But I insisted that the manager OPEN each box in front of me before I left the store. When he did there were 8 more blocks of wood in the hard drive cases.
I then also demanded a wrtten apology from the manager and his staff for accusing me of stealing hard drives.
