XPS 8910, BIOS class, non-Dell GPU's?

You seem to be an expert on this subject. I am wondering, how do I see what BIOS class my Dell XPS 8910 has? And if it will support non-Dell GPU's?

8910 has UEFI Bios Class 2.3.1 aka its a windows 8 based bios. Secure Boot, machines have UEFI firmware version 2.3.1.c New Windows 10 machines have UEFI firmware CLASS 3 which does not have CSM. All new hardware is WIN10 only and 64 bit only. If you need to run windows 7 or 8 or 10 in 32 bit mode you will need older model.

NON DELL GPU's require Secure Boot to be OFF and Legacy Option Roms to be on.

When installing an after-market graphics card into a
UEFI Class 2 or 3 PC with Secure Boot enabled, the system may not boot.
Secure boot is enabled by default on certified Windows 8
PCs. When an after-market graphics card not containing UEFI-enabled firmware (VBIOS) is installed into a motherboard with secure boot enabled in the SBIOS,
the system may not boot. The majority of retail graphics cards manufactured in 2012 and earlier do not contain UEFI-enabled firmware.
In order to get the PC to boot with a graphics card that
does not contain a UEFI-enabled firmware the end-user must first disable the secure boot feature in the system's SBIOS before installing the graphics card.
Note:
Some system SBIOS's incorporate a feature called compatibility boot. These systems will detect a non-UEFI-enabled firmware VBIOS and allow the user to disable secure boot and then proceed with a compatibility boot. If the system contains a system SBIOS the supports CSM compatibility boot, the user will need to disable secure boot when asked during boot process
Instructions for manually disabling secure boot:
1) Power down the system
2) Remove the NVIDIA
Add-in card
3) Boot the system using
integrated graphics
4) Enter CMOS settings.
CMOS settings can usually be accessed during boot, typically by pressing one of
F1, F2, F8, F12, or Delete (depends on the system firmware) Alternatively they

5) Set Secure Boot to
disabled
6) If there is an option,
set CSM (or compatibility or legacy mode) to enabled.
7) Save the new settings
Power down the system
9) Install the NVIDIA

10) The system should now

I followed the instructions for manually disabling secure boot and still it will not post. I see a cursor blink twice and beeps twice then shots down. I am trying to install a GTX 1660 Super to my XPS 8910 with an upgrade FOCUS 650FM PSU. Also upgraded all the latest drivers and BIOS.
What else do I need to do?

DO NOT HOT SWAP those CARDs, ever, or any things inside any PC. ok>?
if you flip this bit below from UEFI to LEgacy does F2 screens work now? if yes your GPU card DOS not Like DELLS UEFI FIrmware ,
do DO this magic, flip the below bet with NO GPU card, first, to legacy then add the card move cable and bingo?
if doing all this shows you can get BIOS to work i legacy, on a any new card, then load the OS Fresh in legacy mode.
its a real pain this, for sure.
Many gamers know this and avoid UEFI like the plague, so they can change GPU like socks (not a dig, we do that) all gamers want to upgrade, GPU even every year or any new chip comes out like that TURING chip did.
and more. Tell Us how you do,... all my dells run any card I want, tired, over 20. (in 6 or more dells, even my T3610 runs it. no problems )
GTX1650 , and GTX1050 I have not tried the 1660, its pricey, and my 1650 is fast enough for geriatric;.
just do not hot swap OK or you latch it up and the GPU goes dead, all GPU do that, done WRONG.
chips see you do that wrong (hot) and they latch up, in to self protection mode. (by DESIGN)

wish I could watch you.???? (the job is pretty simple but has some pitfalls, LEGACY mode and AUX power)
FOCUS 650FM PSU (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh a Seasonics)
never seen that brand me, but did you connect the1- 2 AUX power cables the the power hog card 1660.
no GPU card made with aux jacks or its pins missing, will run at all or run right, or BSOD ! a fact for sure 3d mode.
did you read the 1660 manual first. under connections 12vdc AUX PCi-e
ok found your FOCUS manual and the mod cable port has this cable set.
2 x 6+2 pin PCIe (675mm+75mm)
did you do that? this is first and do not hot swap parts or you will blow them up, I promise.
no SKU of your card told, TRUE makers name and tags. P/N///// even 3 fans 1660 are sold and huge VRAM that all suck power. but not huge power, like 2080 , two times more.
there up to 12 makers of GPU card, NONE STATED BY you, some need 1 aux some 2, please tell card maker or SKU number on card sticker. or URL to yours. exact. (easy no)?
most THESE cards are 125watts, not much but need at least 1 AUX power cable.
worst case is here 2080s , learn NO PIN is optional, the cards VROM scan the pins and fail if missing.
pins seen or jacks are never optional seen here.
aux 12vdc PCI-e power.

TO UNLATCH the hot swap. learn to do a hard reset, even after let it sit for 4 hours, or more, and it my be ok, now.
did you satisfy this spec, off your old 460watt.
did the FOCUS do that or more, 5v/3.3v amps, no the 20a is 5amps shy of 25. but should be ok.
here is the better PSU for this PC, by corsair. TX-750m,
not the killer (good) 12vdc rail, here. and the 25amps on 3/5v.

In addition to disabling Secure Boot Control, did you try enabling Load Legacy OPROM in the BIOS?
