9575: No Display when powering on

I have tried holding in the power button to turn it on, tried tapping it and no luck. The keyboard lights up and the fans go on so it is turning on. I have also tried to do that when the power cord is connected and no luck. And to be clear, I have no indication of powering on via the screen, completely black. No splash screen, etc.

I have tried to power it on while holding the D key and the screen lights up with various colors.

I have no luck trying to tap the F2 or F12 key to get it into bios mode while powering it on. Or using the shift key to power it in safe mode. Or the fn key.

This has been an issue in the past but usually after trying to hold the power button while the power cord is in, or something like that, the display magically starts working and I have no problems for weeks.

I recently replaced a bad battery (was getting 30 mins of power, replacement was done a week or 2 ago). Since then the issue with the display not going on has been happening basically every time I try to turn the laptop on for the first time of the day.  The health of the battery itself seems good though. It holds its charge for hours.

Things to note, I do not have a USB C to HDMI cable or something to try an external display. I have tried unplugging the battery from its socket, turning off the battery switch and then trying to power on the laptop. Result is the same.

I tend to not actually shut the computer down, I usually just close the lid and power it back up.

I replaced the motherboard(?) awhile back just because my USB C ports were no longer working on the left side. So it is a relatively new motherboard. I would say I did that 6 months ago.

I'm just trying to provide all the information I can, not sure if I am missing anything at this point. I haven't tried anything with the CMOS battery.

The power indicator LEDs in front haven't given any indication of what is going on either, don't pay much attention to it. Like when I power it on without the cord in the LEDs light up for a second and then disappear. And so when I go to then turn off the computer since I don't see anything, the LEDs pop up for a second again and disappear. When I plug it in the keyboard caps lock lights up for a second and the white LED in front turns on and stays on. Then I press the power button and the LED goes away, the keyboard lights up (including the caps lock light) and nothing happens. So I hold the power button to presumably turn off the laptop, the fans go wild, then the fans stop, I take my finger off, the LEDs are now amber. Eventually the fans come back on. If I press a keyboard key the keyboard lights go on. So I guess the laptop was not powering off...so then I try to turn it off again. Now it turns off, the LED is white but blinks off a couple times and then maintains white. So, I am pretty stuck.

Hope someone has an idea, thanks!

I have a 9575 2-in-1 4k touchscreen. Windows 11 upgrade stopped the touchscreen. The Windows 10 downgrade didn't resolve it. I now have a black screen but pressing CRTL + D initiates a successful color screen test. I drained the battery, installed a new CMOS batt, powered it on and still no screen. Keyboard back light is on, fans run, white LED stays on. If I press and hold power button for 15 seconds, fans run twice as fast, shuts down, turns back on, white LED blinks three times and stays on. F keys don't work. Seems oddly coincidental that the motherboard is toast after a Windows update.
