Adding storage to Dell XPS 13 7390
Apologies for the noob question - I have a Dell XPS 13 7390 and I keep getting warnings that the storage is close to capacity. There isn't much else I want to remove but I need more space going forwards. Is it possible to increase the storage with a USB external drive or some other type of device? If so please can you recommend something that would be compatible?
Thanks in advance

For offline storage (i.e., NOT for installing applications or anything requiring an always-present medium), you can use any external USB drive you wish. Unless you're 100% certain you'll always have that drive connected, this is impractical for storing programs.
Otherwise, as long as this isn't a 2-in-1 system, you can replace the SSD with a larger capacity one internally. (This isn't an option with the 2-in-1 version, as the SSD is permanently soldered to the system board and therefore not upgradeable internally).
