Bluescreen, can’t boot in safe mode!
XPS 15 9560
After a recent batch of windows updates, my laptop (Dell XPS 9650, Win 10) started blue screening with the message
VIDEO DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR
Looking for answers had me go to NVIDEA's site, download & instll latest driver, but no help.
The next 'fix' was remove the device, restart & let it reinstall & that even gave me worse results, now it won't boot up, giving me the message 'your PC needs to be repaired', with a bunch of options, but hitting F8 will only bring me back to that screen.
Any suggestions.

Start with the Dell diagnostics. F12 at powerup -- press several times after power on before the operating system starts to load.

Ref the blue screen error, it appears to be a driver issue related to switching between the iGPU and dedicated. See the discussion thread that already exists.

Sounds like you might need to reinstall if you can't get safe mode working ref what you did in device manager.

I had DL’d recovery iso for my laptop & am currently running the hardware scan.
would the repair option in this give me the option to reinstall the video driver?

Tried the system diagnostics & everything passed.
I DL'd the Dell System Recovery tool, created a bootable USB drive, ran the Repair option & all is well!
Will report back in a couple of days if I'm free of any nore crashes or not...
