boot

When I close my XPS 13 9310 lid and open it the next day, sometimes it won't boot. It gets stuck on the dell logo. Rebooting many times and holding the power key forever and etc does not work. The only thing that works is pressing the FN key when booting, do the diagnostics (which show no problems at all), and then when I quit the diagnostics, the boot works.

Also today I was out of battery and I could not even get it to turn on when the cable was plugged. WHen I unplugged the cable it turned on but wouldn't last because it had no battery. After some charge I was able to get into the diagnostics and then quitted it and then was able to boot.

Start with disabling Fast startup in the control panel and RESETTING BIOS to default.

One more thing these XPS 13s are known to have network activity while in the sleep-consuming battery.

By default time to go in hibernation is set to some unrealistic number, set to 20 minutes
