DELL D6000 dock amber light error
hello community I just bought the dell d6000 adapter I powered it with its 130w adapter now it's showing me constant amber light and not detecting or connecting with my laptop and no dock port is giving any response

Hi kool345,
I have had this just happen to my docking station. I have had mine for 2 years now and for the last 6 months, the Docking station has been cutting in and out. It has been annoying because it is used to connect my laptop to a Dell monitor.
Just before mine got the amber light (officially today), the laptop said that it could not read the USB connector. I'd like to know what it means too.

I just downloaded a driver for my laptop for docks through DELL support and it all seems to be working fine. Perhaps check your laptop's software @kool345 ??
