Dell TB16 DisplayPort not working
Dear Community,
I recently got the new XPS15 (12th Gen) and for some reason DisplayPort doesn't work with my TB16. I am running Fedora 36. But my Inspiron 7490 (10th Gen) running Fedora 36, too, works like a charm. Everything else on the Dock works on the XPS tho (HDMI,USB Controller, Ethernet, Charging, Authorization). Could it be a bug with the new Thunderbolt Controller in the XPS?

Hi, I have the exact same situation than you. My xps13 (11th gen) work in DP but not my Inspiron 7330. Everything else is working (HDMI USB...). Did you manage to fix the problem ?

Usually, the cause of the error is a failure to properly connect the cables between the display and a computer. The configuration of the On Screen Display (OSD) menu of the display can be another cause.

Ehmm, I don't see the relevance of any of it?! This setup works just not on the XPS15

Hey there sadly not. Do you happen to be on Linux as well, or do you suffer from this issue on Windows as well?
