Dell XPS 13 9360 won't boot properly

Hello,

Recently my Dell XPS 13 stopped charging so I replaced the DC Jack with a new, albeit non-Dell part (I wasn't sure if it would work and didn't want to waste my money). It worked for a week or so and I planned to buy an official part at some point, but now my machine won't boot up. It will turn the monitor on and off several times (and one time I'm pretty sure I saw my desktop for a quick second.) This happened first when I turned it on unplugged but happens when it is plugged in as well. Is this;

A. An issue with the non-Dell DC jack and I just need to replace it.

B. An issue with the non-Dell DC jack and my computer is probably fried.

C. Some other issue caused by opening up my laptop? Maybe I can go back in and make sure the parts are connected.

D. A completely different issue.
