Dell xps black screen - disposable?
I have a Dell XPS 9365. I bought it when it was 1 yr old at start of pandemic to run a business. Its now boasts a black screen. A computer person diagnosed after two minutes staring at it - 'if nothing shows on a second monitor throw it away. It'll be the graphics card.' Which seems a sad end for it. Is this a common issue, fixable? (Please say 'yes'). Or is it dynamic obsolescence, or bad luck?

First run a screen diagnostic - hold D through powerup. Do the test screens show?
Is there any image at all, even a faint one (use a bright flashlight)?
