Fingerprint reader failed?
XPS 15 7590
Fingerprint sensor on my XPS 15 (7590) stopped working. Was working fine until about a week ago. I thought its a simple driver reinstall issue, but driver installation fails with message "Goodfix Fingerprint Device was not found". There is an unidentified device named OTA1 in Other Devices, I'm not sure if its the fingerprint sensor, but I have no idea how to verify that its the fingerprint sensor. Updating driver option does not work with the driver I found on Dell Support site, because its executable file.

Time to remove the base cover, disconnect the battery and check inside the system to make sure the sensor is connected to the mainboard.
