Flickering Lines on Dell XPS 13
Brand new (about a month old) Dell XPS 13 laptop suddenly developed several horizontal, multi-colored, flickering lines at the top of the screen. Also there is a vertical line in the center of the screen. I have run all the diagnostics (indicates no issues) and updated drivers. Online help indicates that changing the refresh rate may help but this particular model will not allow refresh rate change.

Notebooks don't have adjustable internal refresh rates -- they're fixed.
Run a screen diagnostic -- hold the D key through powerup. If the fault appears on the test screens, the display assembly needs replacement.
If it does not, the problem could be with the display cable, or it could be a driver or GPU problem.
If you require further assistance, post the results of the screen diagnotic and the full model number (XPS 9350, 9320, etc.) along with the panel type (FHD, UHD and touch or non-touch).
