FN buttons changed by connecting bluetooth keyboard

Hi all, yesterday I bought a bluetooth keyboard. Before, when I pressed (for example) F2 and F3 it would turn the volume up and down. Right now, I have to press Fn + F2 of Fn + F3 to reach the same goal. This happened right after connecting the keyboard. I also have the Fn keys on the keyboard and it also works with Fn + F2. Does anyone know how to change this back on both the external keyboard and the laptop keyboard? I use the multimedia keys more often than the Fn keys.
