Having to reinstall camera driver repeatedly
My integrated webcam on my Dell XPS 13 will work for a few days and then it won't. I reinstall the driver and it works again for a few days and then I need to reinstall the driver to get it working again. Why does the driver keep failing?

What model XPS 13 -- there are many of them? 9330, 9350, etc.

I was able to see that your specific configuration should be an XPS 13 9345 and is using a MIPI camera. These camera's have been found to often run into some sort of driver issue. I typically recommend taking a look at this article here as it details why the camera may fail. The article says it pertains to corporate images, but really I'd say it applies to any time this driver fails.
However, I see your configuration is running a Snapdragon CPU. I have not seen much on the interaction between the MIPI interface and ARM. Was the latest MIPI driver reinstalled? If so, then I'd recommend contacting Support to look into this issue further with you. The fixes I am aware of apply towards Intel based systems. That said, it may be worth reinstalling the GPU driver and updating the BIOS to the latest version on your system.

If we follow the Intel sequence, then I would try reinstalling drivers in this order:

I have the 9345 with the Qualcomm camera. And yes, it is a Snapdragon model.
