In app text and workspace too small / unreadable
Hello- I still have had no luck finding a way to be able to see my applications. The apps themselves are much too small.
My icons on my desktop are normal size. I have the following settings:
- Size of text, apps, and other items in display settings is at 250% (recommended)
- Resolution 3200 x 1800 (recommended)
I have tried multiple resolutions and none fix the issue. Let's look at Adobe Audition for example. The top menu seems to be a 'normal' size, but I cannot see the workstation (under the Menu of "File, Edit, etc) at all:
That is the way nearly all programs show up. The app settings and such itself are MICROSCOPIC. It took a lot just to get the desktop for me to see the icons, and that was with Dell support-- but the apps themselves, I cannot use due to... well... you can see for yourself,
Please help!

That is the problem with high-resolution monitors: everything becomes very small. I advise clients to test out a high-resolution monitor (or laptop with same) in a store before buying. Many find that high-resolution panels make everything too small for them to read. 1920 x 1080 is better for many people.
There are two settings that may help you: Scale; and Make text bigger.
Settings | System | Display | Scale and layout: set a higher %,.
If you click "Advanced scaling settings", you can select custom scaling value. This will change the size of text, apps and other items.
You can also try:
Ease of Access | Display | Make text bigger.
However, I find that many apps don't respect that setting, so text in those apps doesn't enlarge. The Display Scale setting may have greater benefit for you.
If you cannot find large values that work for you, you could try to lower the monitor's resolution. However, when using other than an LCD panel's native resolution, quality may suffer.
