Integrated webcam removed while running Full Test from laptop support page

I answered my own issue by reverting to a previous restore point, which removed SupportAssist and restored Dell Support Center. I then started having problems with "Dell Support Center stopped working" messages popping up. That never happened before. I then disabled the related tasks in Task Scheduler. So far, so good. Not sure what I'm going to do next. Obviously Dell Support Center isn't working any more for some unknown reason. But I'm not sure I want to repeat what happened in my previous message.

I spoke too soon. The message reappeared. Dang!

I wound up uninstalling Dell Support Center and deleting all the directories and files associated with it, including anything associated with PC Doctor. I then ran Norton Utilities to clean up the registry. I then downloaded and installed SupportAssist and SupportAssistAgent, went to the support page for my laptop, and ran the Full Test, which passed with flying colors. After a reboot, I opened Device Manager and noticed that the Integrated Webcam had a yellow caution symbol and the following Device Status message: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)" I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, but no joy. There haven't been any updates that I have been able to find. To sum up, Dell Support Center stopped working for no discernable reason (and I am not the only one with that issue). So I replaced it with SupportAssist and tried to run the Full Test, but the Integrated Webcam got wiped out. So I reverted to a previous restore point. After much monkeying around, I got SupportAssist to work without wiping out the Webcam, but now the driver won't work. Forget about Webcam Central. That doesn't seem to be working either and I don't dare uninstall it because Dell has stopped providing a download for it.

Final update. Not that anybody is paying any attention. The issue appears to be that one of the driver files, CtClsFlt.sys is unsigned and Windows is refusing to run it. There does not seem to be any hope of downloading a signed version from anywhere -- Dell, Quanta, or Creative Labs. So, I'm giving up.
