Issue with USB-C Docking Station when battery is at 0%
I am using an XPS 15 7590 - I am using the Dell Power Adapter but it is not charging the battery. I have ordered a new charger.....
However, while my machine is at 0% Battery, whenever I plug a docking station into the USB-C input, the machine goes black.
Is it possible that this is being caused by the battery being at 0%?
Also, for the record, whenever I try to run diagnostics, it runs for a second then dies....I am also assuming this is because the battery is at 0%
What is confusing is the machine is plugged in. I would think most functionality would still work being plugged in regardless of the charge on the battery.
Does anyone else have any insight or experience with this?
Note: I am NOT using the docking station to charge. I am only using it to plug in my LAN, Mouse, and External Monitor.
