No Advanced Optimus
XPS 16 9640 with 4050 Nvidia discrete graphics chip. System info tells me there is no Advanced Optimus. There also doesn't appear to be any option in bios to change graphics chips options. Am I missing something here? Perhaps the 4050 option is not available?

The only XPS 9640 that has the advanced optimus (i.e., hardware switchable GPU) is the model with the 4070 GPU.

My laptop has a 4060, and this section "Hybrid Graphics/Advanced Options" is missing from the bios, how can I enable "Discrete Graphics Controller Direct Output Mode" option?

If it's an XPS 16, you cannot.
