No Ethernet Showing
Hi there,
I am trying a wired internet connection but notice it wasn't working. I checked and I noticed no ethernet was showing. (image below) Do you know how I can find what ethernet card I have and where to download Dell approved drivers?

Your model does not have ethernet, just wireless.

@Farwalker_Dell Yes, I was just going to suggest that you get a USB-to-Ethernet adapter. You can get small ones that provide just Ethernet or, as you found, others that also act as a USB-C hub. Such devices are good solutions for many modern compact laptops that lack an on-board Ethernet port.

You did not post the exact model number of your system which is needed to help find the correct drivers or offer further diagnostic help. In general look at the Network Adapters you have listed in Device Manager and if any yellow explanation marks are shown next to any of the adapters, in this case the Ethernet.

Opps, sorry about that. My Laptop model is: XPS 15 9510 on Windows 11 PRO. I have a attached a screenshot of the Network Adaptors. I doesn't look like Ethernet is installed.
Should I ping Dell support to ask them what ethernet drive should be installed?

@Mary G Thank you for your reply. Would something like a USB C to Ethernet Adapter work in that I could connect a Cat 5 or 6 cable to my laptop and have internet connection? Or would that still not work?
