PPID and Battery Manufacture Date

PPID

CN0F8CPGBDS0008J502NA01

When exactly was my battery manufactured?

What about the manufacture date of my Dell XPS 17 9700?

The only information it says is that it was shipped december 2020 but says nothing about when the laptop was manufactured

The battery was made in 2015.

The shipping date is essentially the date of manufacture - notebooks are shipped from China within a few days of being assembled.

Is there a way to get the the PPID of the battery with the service tag? Will the dell technicians know it?

I got my battery changed and I would like to know if its possible for you to get the PPID for the battery that shipped with my device.

I read here that the PPID stayed the same so  I was curious to know if I can compare with what's on my dell power manager now

No.  There is no record of the OEM battery.  The PPID contains a date code -- so it will change when a (presumably newer) battery is installed (and the entire PPID may change, since the manufacturer of the newer battery may be different).
