Some weird things with keyboard on 5530
Hello everyone!
I've noticed that from time to time a few keys on my 5530 not working: "~", F1 and sometimes F2 (very rarely used, the ESC button is fine btw). The effect is temporary, after some time things become normal again and everything works as expected. I was thinking it is a thermal issue, but I faced with the same issue when laptop is totally cold. Also I tested it with another OS (Linux based) and had the same problem. Also, tried to clean-up the laptop, nothing helps.
Is it a keyboard issue, is it dying or something? New keyboard costs about $100 with replacement. I am not sure what to do, please help.

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

Please run Keyboard troubleshooter on the system by typing Troubleshoot onto [Cortana] search box. The troubleshooter find and fix problems with your computer's keyboard settings.
If Troubleshooter doesn't fix keyboard:
Uninstall / reinstall keyboard driver in device manager.
1. Right click keyboard driver and select Uninstall
2. Select Action on the Device Manager menu bar
3. On the Action menu, select Scan for hardware changes to reinstall driver
If that doesn't work:
1. Right click keyboard driver
2. Select Properties
3. Select Roll back Driver under the Driver tab
Lastly, if keyboard still doesn't work normally:
Roll system back to the most recent successful configuration of the registry, restart the computer in Safe Mode and select the Last Known Good Configuration option. Hopefully this will finally fix the computer's keyboard.

matasarei,
The F2 key is used to enter the bios at startup. The F1 key is used to refresh the screen in Windows OS.

The keyboard driver is standard (PS2 keyboard, version 10.0.19041.1, released 21.06.2006). My main OS is Windows 10, all updates for OS and hardware are installed.
Looks like it is not a software issue, but a hardware issue. The question is: is it the keyboard or something else?
