TB16 Firmware Update - Waiting for system reboot
Hi All
I have tried to update my TB16 firmware using Dell 9560 laptop but some of the items seem to be stuck with "Loaded.Waiting for system reboot" as can be seen in the image below.
I have tried powering the dock off and on a number of times, even restarted the laptop but the same message appears. Any ideas how I can complete the firmware update

Did you ever figure this out?

STARxFLYER,
If you have anything attached to the Dock, remove it and just have the laptop connected to it. Let me know if that will flash the firmware.

Update to this:
In my instance, I had a BIOS password set. Even though the firmware process prompted me to enter my BIOS password and seemed to proceed to update firmware, it would fail.
Once I removed the BIOS password, I got past the issue descibed in this ticket.
I now have a different issue, that when the XPS 17 9700 laptop reboots to conitnue with the firmware update, the black Dell BIOS post screen attmpts to apply the firmware, but in red letters it says it fails. I will persue that in a differnet thread.

Having this same issue. nothing connected to dock besides pc

If you expand the window, there is a "Restart" button at the right bottom.
