@Roland10pont  When it comes to adapters that use USB-C rather than USB-A, the overwhelming majority do NOT use DisplayLink because USB-C can have an actual GPU output wired to it, so the adapters tap into that instead. (There are some USB-C DisplayLink adapters though for systems with USB-C ports that don’t support video.) There are lots of solid USB-C to HDMI options, but here’s one from a brand that I like: https://www.anker.com/products/variant/usbc-to-hdmi-adapter/A8306041

Hi,

I think this is what I need to add/extend an additional monitor to an Inspiron 3501.

The link you provided no longer works.

Do you have another source?
