Using a regular mouse on XPS 14 9440
I don't like touchpads. Can you connect a regular mouse to the XPS 14 using a USB port? If you can, how do you disable the touchpad? Thanks!

Yes, you can connect a regular wired or wireless mouse to your XPS 9440. After connecting the mouse, go to Touchpad settings then select the Touchpad On or Off toggle to turn the touchpad Off.
You can also click on the down arrow next to the Touchpad On or Off toggle for a drop-down menu and unchecked the option Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected. That will allow you to use touchpad as normal but will automatically disable the touchpad when a mouse is connected.
