Wi-Fi driver can’t be detected on device manager

Hi I use an XPS 15 7590. I have an Intel ax200 Wi-Fi card and had a killer 1650 before. I downloaded and installed drivers for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The Bluetooth works fine but Wi-Fi still doesn’t work and can’t be detected on device manager. I already updated BIOS and installed the latest drivers but still nothing. Id appreciate your help.

Seems to have been hardware issues in the end with Dell diagnosis with a repair needed to the motherboard. Currently awaiting delivery of laptop after repair

1. I recently installed a new wifi card using Intel's AX210 module. I did not need to download any drivers from Intel. Windows 10 automatically detected the card and installed the drivers for Wifi and Bluetooth.

2. Before installing a new wifi card, you should prepare. While the old wifi card is still in place, go to Device Manager to uninstall its driver. Shut down, install the new card, then reboot.

In this case you've already installed the new card, so if you can see it in Device Manager then uninstall its Bluetooth and wifi drivers and start over.

3. If you did a clean install of Windows at some point, ensure that you installed the chipset drivers available from the Dell Support site. They may be necessary for proper detection of the new wireless card.

Whenever touching components or working inside a computer, wear a grounded wrist strap, also called anti-static wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet. It's a cheap and sensible precaution. Rest the laptop on an anti-static mat or at least a reasonable alternative such as corrugated cardboard. (Repeatedly touching a metal case part is not sufficient mitigation with modern components.) If you weren't scrupulous with ESD precautions, there is always the possibility that an invisible and unfelt static discharge damaged something.
