Windows or Linux, is there a difference in the hardware
I'm thinking about buying a XPS 13 but i have a question about the Operating System. I want to know if there is difference in the harware and support if I choose to buy it with Ubuntu and then install Windows 11 Education instead of buying it with Windows 11 preinstalled.

The Dell XPS 13 supported Windows 10, 11 and Ubuntu (optional with 7th gen), so I don't see any problem for you to install Windows 11 Education. Please note that if you required Dell support, they will ask you to reinstall the original OS that system was shipped with.
As far as I know, Win 11 can run well on many unsupported (old) models I worked on. So any different in hardware shouldn't be an issue.
