Wireless Connection Issue
Hey,
I am the owner of a company which deals in Industrial Goods and Servcies. Recently due to my some network issue there was a network break at my office and all the lights were shut off. After a few hours when the connection got back, i had a problem with my laptop which was unable to connect to the wifi. I restarted the laptop 3-4 times bt didnt got any result. I even got a wire cable through which i thought it would work but it wasnt. Even called the wifi operator to check the connection but all was good A friends of mine suggested to give it to the repair shop.
What do you guys think
Should i give it for a repair or do some other stuff to make it work again

You should run the diagnostics to test all the hardware since a power surge could have fried your network card. The fact it is not working with a cable connection is not a good sign. Add a usb network adapter and disable the internal one that is dead as long as the other hardware including the router and modem check out fine. Are there other computers on the network that are ok? If yours is the only computer, the modem or router could have problems. Try resetting them by unplugging both and waiting for a few minutes then reconnect the modem first, wait until all lights are on then plug in the router and turn on the computer.
