XPS 13 9310 2-in-1 touchpad issues (bottom left corner not functioning properly)

I just received my 9310 2-in-1 and been having constant touchpad issues. The most prominent one: pressing the bottom left corner doesn't recognize the press but instead executes a double-tap. This makes it a pain to drag and drop. Performing the same press further to the right works fine.

Other issues: the touchpad randomly goes haywire and won't recognize two-finger taps (right clicks).

I have now idea what drivers they use for this laptop. There's no driver available from the Dell driver page. I tried uninstalling the HID drivers in the device manager but after a reboot they're back again.

Any ideas what I could try to fix this?
