XPS 13 9310 AUDIO delay
There is an issue with the audio driver on my laptop.
Windows signal sounds like on-screen keyboard sound, alarm sounds, etc. does not play or play with delay. Also, when I try to change volume by the sound icon in the taskbar, it will slide after 5 seconds and its sound will play even after that with more delay.
It is crazy!!!!!!
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
Please do not say re-install the driver!!!!

This worked for me too! thank you soooo so so much as the next solution recommended was an OS re-install and I was certain it had absolutely nothing to do with the OS but was the next step required before a tech can investigate.

@Dell Support - Aren't you going to address this issue - so many people are reporting it in the web?
The proposed solution works but it is an old MS driver and after switching to it MaxAudio stops working

This worked for me in fixing the delay - thank you! But, I am noticing that the audio output quality is worse with the Microsoft driver. Any ideas for that? Did anyone try using the old Realtek driver?
