XPS 13 9310, two U2723QE, Ethernet speed, refresh rate issues
Hello Dell community,
I hope you are all doing well. I am encountering some issues with my Dell setup and would appreciate any assistance or advice you can provide.
I have an XPS 13 9310 laptop connected to two Dell U2723QE monitors using a daisy chain configuration. I have used the cables provided: a USB-C cable from the laptop to the first monitor, and a DisplayPort cable from the first monitor to the second.
However, I am facing two specific issues with this setup:
-
Ethernet Speed: When using the daisy chained monitors, the ethernet speed is significantly limited to approximately 350-400 Mbps. This speed falls short of the normal 900 Mbps that I expect to achieve. I have verified that my internet connection is capable of higher speeds, so it seems to be related to the monitor configuration. Is there any known limitation or setting that might be causing this speed reduction?
-
Refresh Rate: The second monitor in the daisy chain is limited to a refresh rate of only 30Hz instead of the expected 60Hz. The primary monitor achieves the desired 60Hz refresh rate without any issues. Could you please advise on potential solutions or settings adjustments to enable the second monitor to reach the desired 60Hz refresh rate?
Thank you in advance for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from the knowledgeable members of this community and finding a resolution to these concerns.
