XPS 13 9310 video playback issues
XPS 13 9310
I have this laptop for more than a year and the whole experience is just ultimate disaster, i regret the day i again bought XPS. I am more time following these message boards so i could maybe one day use laptop like it's intended. Basically, i have xps 9310, i have youtube playback issues since day 1, i am upgrading/downgrading audio drivers all the time, but my computer still lags every time i need to play stupid video. Every browser freeze and then after a while i am able to play it. Dont know if there is some BIOS version that maybe works better, i use Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_Y1CRR_WIN_6.0.9136.1_A07 version and i have no idea what else i can do.
is there any actual solution to this problem so 2k laptop can actually act like a laptop that costs that amount of money. Also, my previous experience with XPS was quite similar, it was great, then BIOS update literally made battery life 2 hours instead of 8 hours Like how in the world you guys keep failing so hard, it's beyond my comprehension.

There is a BIOS update for your system. Have you ran updates through Dell Update and/or SupportAssist and/or Windows Updates?

Maybe latest dell video driver does not behave well? Try the latest one straight from Intel - I was reading some posts that some folks had same/similar issues with video drivers and they were able to solve it by installing driver from Intel.
Hope this helps,

@dojson I have been having this same issue for years, and this was the solution: https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/xps/xps-13-9310-youtube-playback-delay/647f9a70f4ccf8a8dee1469f.
What I had to do was to go to Bluetooth and other device settings and remove any wireless displays I had saved, now everything works!
Hope this helps,
Alex
