XPS 13 9310, Waves MaxxAudio not working

Software issue, but the upgrade to Windows 11 may have fixed the issue.

Hi,

When running Waves MaxxAudio audio application nothing is happening? I can't find it in the add or remove programs menu, how can I uninstall it?

Follow the steps below to reset the driver.

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.

• Expand Audio inputs and outputs
• 
  
• Right-click and Uninstall all entries listed here
• 
  
• Expand ‘Sound Video and Game Controllers’.
• 
  
• Right-click on the Sound device listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• 
  
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• 
  
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled. 
• 
  
• Reinstall from here
• 
  
  • Try installing WavesMaxx from here

Version 6.2.0.946 is causing issues. You can downgrade to version 6.2.0.768 by downloading the older driver from here: Realtek High-definition audiodriver
After downloading please open the package and choose 'extract'. Create a new folder in a convenient location.
Then open device manager and go to software components - Waves Audio Effects Component.
Right click to update its driver, choose 'browse my computer for driver software'.
Find the newly created folder where you extracted the driver content and pick the following subdirectory: \0\Drivers\Win64\11\10
Press next to install the older version of the driver and don't forget to reboot your device when done.
