XPS 13 9320 battery replacement screw problem
I am trying to replace the battery on my XPS 13, I can remove the cover but when it comes to the battery itself, I can easily remove all screws except the one that connects the battery connector to the motherboard. I know I am supposed to use a PH#0 screwdriver. That seems to work on every screw holding the battery, but the battery connector screw does not budge. I am afraid to put too much pressure on the screwdriver to get purchase for fear of damaging the motherboard. I don't think the screw is stripped but that could be possible. Any suggestions?

Hi
I would consider applying pressure with the screwdriver, AND also attempt to move the bracket it retains in a CCW motion to see if it is all held in place by some thread locking gunk, so that screw and bracket move simultaneously. BUT that is what I would consider, and accept the consequences, whereas you may feel that a step too far.

Thanks Anne. Great name btw. The bracket itself doesn't seem to move with CW or CCW motion and I am really worried about applying any more pressure because of how it flexes. Hopefully there will be some other tips. if not, I will have to take it to a pay a professional.

Hi
The bracket is supposed to lip under the board, so that means only CCW movement to me.
It was to mainly break any seal on the threadlock gunk.
Hopefully someone else will have a better suggestion.
