XPS 13 9343 - Dell Command Update Fails

XPS 13 9343 Running Windows 10 Pro (version 1703.

For the last few months Dell Command Update informs me there is a critical update, downloads it and then tells me there was an error. The Log file only shows me there was an error, but spareinformation on what the error was or what caused it. Can you please resolve?

Here's what Dell Command Updated (v2.3.1) does:

Scans system devices,
Determines Availability
Informs me there are

• Critical Update (1 of 1; 8.4 MB)
• Recommended Updates (2 of 2; 307.8 MB)

Default "Automatically restart system (when required)" box is ticked.

Downloads updates (3 of 3), with 316.2 MB transferred.

Validating Digital Signatures...

Warning: A problem occured while installing updates. The operation was aborted. See the activity log for the specific failure details.

The Activity Logs Shows:
The certificate is valid

Application Error.: GUI-UVM17

Installing Updates:

DVDP: Dell Command | Update
GTWMC: Intel HD Graphics Driver
C3JKT: Dell Digital Delivery Application

Note I encounter this error regardless of whether I install only the critical update, only the Recommended Updates or Both.
