XPS 13 - 9370 screen doesn't go on

Question

XPS 13 - 9370 - win 10, fully up to date.
Drivers are up to date with the dell tool.

When I'm connecting an external screen all works normally - the laptop screen states black.

I've tried to disconnect the battery and "drain" the power with a long press on the on/off button a few times - didn't do anything.

Any suggestions?

Are you able to run diagnostics (tap F12 immediately at boot)? Does the Dell logo show at all? Do you see any diagnostic lights sequence? This support page may help with troubleshooting. But if an external monitor works fine then it is entirely possible the laptop screen needs replacing.

Any advice before i replace the screen?Is there a sure way to check if the screen is the issue on maybe something else? an issue in the motherboard maybe?

good evening.I sent you the service tag in a private message a few days ago.Meanwhile, I tried to replace the screen but it didn't help. still - when connecting an external monitor I can work with the computer as normal.any advice on how to proceed? the next option is to buy a new laptop... thanks
