XPS 13 Plus 9320, Touchpad issue

I am quite dissatisfied with my new XPS 13 Plus 9320. The touchpad is continually stuck, and the click button does not function. Once this is stuck, the mouse cursor becomes stuck as well, and nothing works. If I move the mouse, the whole screen goes with it; the mouse pointer remains on the site. I don't belive there is a solution. This is quite aggravating considering the price of the machine. The restart does not resolve the issue.
