XPS 15 2-in-1, updated model?

I don't think you'll get any official answers about unannounced products here, but the current XPS 15 2-in-1 is in a strange position.  It uses the Intel Kaby Lake-G CPU, which incorporates an Intel CPU and AMD GPU onto the same physical die.  The problem is that Intel has announced that they are discontinuing that CPU and will not be offering a direct replacement because of low interest from system manufacturers and consumers.  So at the moment it's unclear what hardware a second generation XPS 15 2-in-1 would use, if a second generation even arrives.

But as for 10th Generation CPUs, the XPS 15 models (both the 2-in-1 and regular models) use higher performance 45W variants.  On the regular XPS 15, that's indicated by CPU models that end with an "H".  The only 10th Generation CPUs that have launched at this point are the low power 15W CPUs, namely the ones ending with a "U" and the new Ice Lake CPUs that end with a "G" and a number.

Wanted an XPS 9575 - Buying an HP Spectre X360 15" OLED because Dell appears to have abandoned us

This is a shout into the wind, assuming that Dell cares an iota. We bought an XPS 9575 2-in-1 two years ago as a college machine when our second daughter was a senior in high school. I need a minimal laptop as we move later this year and my desktop is packed up. We took the opportunity to buy our journalism-turned-filmmaking college senior daughter an appropriate XPS 7590 to replace her 2016-vintage Latitude e5470 college machine that was great for writing but wanting for film editing (although she coaxed some nice edits from it, albeit slowly...). Point is that we've become a Dell family and been very happy with their quality and ProSupport service the few times we've needed it.

Forward to my wife having a decrepit old Inspiron for her job at Church (we're a Dell shop, too) and being ready to throw it through the window. Since the church obviously can't afford to buy a new machine in their covid-imposed financial situation and windows are expensive, we decided to buy her a new machine ourselves. She loves the 9575 15" 2-in-1. Trouble is remaining stock is 8GB/256GB; the 256 I can expand but not the 8GB and that's unacceptable. I'm sadly getting ready to send $2,000 to HP for a 2020 Spectre 15" convertible with a modern i7-10750H, 16GB and a power-hungry OLED display. I'm afraid of battery life but will give it a shot after I saw how beautiful the 7590's OLED is.

I even looked in the Outlet but those are way too pricey for as old as they are. Dell needs to move those two remaining 9575 models to the Outlet and make a clean break of it; just say that they don't care about that market segment any longer. It's there, alright; HP can't keep their 15" OLEDs in stock.

If Dell comes back with one they might be designing in the back room as I write (they could even be in the boat on the way over), it can be on the same chasis, but with modern conveniences like a 1080P camera with kill switches for camera and mic, a real SD card slot (who has ever put a microSD in their slot?), a USB A port, several CPU and GPU options, OLED option, a 32GB RAM option, keep the replaceable M.2, add that brilliant pen cubby like the 2-in-1 Inspiron (not an acceptable alternative once you've experienced the remarkable XPS - twice), and a bot that unloads the dishwasher.

Dell, it's been nice knowin' 'ya, but the high-end 15" 2-in-1 train is leaving your station and there's a big Hewlett Packard logo on its side.
