XPS 15 9500, BIOS cannot detect WLAN

Question

My 9500 froze. On reboot the only network activity i could do was turn on airplane mode. I tried uninstalling the Killer driver. I downloaded the Killer-1650-Wi-Fi-Controller-Driver_4NYXX_WIN_2.2.1480_A18_04.EXE driver and install, but the install stated the machine does not have the WLAN hardware.

What can I try to get BIOS/Windows 10 to at least recognize that the Killer 1650 wifi module?

* Open the Device Manager* What is listed under Bluetooth and Network Adapters? * Reboot into the BIOS* Go to Connection. You should see this below. What do you see?

I have an XPS 15 9575 2-IN-1 with the same problem.

Everything working fine for 2 years then after a SSD failure and replacement. Trying to do a O/S restore, could not connect to Wireless (Bios Diagnostics reports; WLAN=NONE but not not produce an error message or number which seems to totally stump support. Been working with Support for 4 days, tried all sorts of solutions but nothing works. Nothing is shown in Device Manager - I suspect because it's not loaded by Bios in the first place so how can the O/S or Dell Assist identify it as a problem.

Desperate for a solution.

I have the same problem. I have tried loads of things including going backwards in Bios versions even tried another network card but nothing seems to work. Did you have any luck finding a solution?
