XPS 15 9510, problem with gpu
I bought a used XPS 9510 laptop a while ago, and when I turned it on, I noticed that the driver for the 3050 ti was not working. I downloaded the GeForce Experience program and tried to download the driver, and whenever the installation process finished, nothing happened! again The GeForce Experience told me that I must download the same driver. I opened the device manager and entered its properties and found It tells me that the GPU has an error code 43. I ran a hardware test on the device from the Dell website and the results were as follows:
| HARDWARE NAME | CATEGORY | RESULT | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PCIeStatus | PCI Status | FAILURE | ||
| NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU | Video Card | FAILURE |
and they didnt give me any further details and they also dosent have real costumer services and idk what to do right now please help!

Is the driver for the Intel GPU (which controls the nVidia GPU) working and up to date? The nVidia GPU is simply a co-processor -- all video data passes through the Intel GPU on its way to the display.

@ejn63 I have just bought the laptop second hand and have the exact problem too. All of my drivers are up to date through the dell software. And it still doesn't fix the problem. Could it be a hardware problem that cannot be solved?

same problem here, XPS 9510 with RTX 3050 ti not working.
Tried both nvidia drivers and dell nvidia driver.
Also Bios is up to date.
After restart, Windows takes long time to start and then deactivates RTX because of a failure.
-> Code 43
Anybody a solution for this problem?

Try a clean reinstall of Windows, followed by the chipset drivers and then the Intel GPU driver (from Dell -- not Intel). Then install the nVidia driver (again, from Dell -- not nVidia). If the system works up to the point the nVidia driver is loaded but not after, that GPU has failed -- meaning it's going to be a painful expense of replacing the mainboard.

Also I forgot to mention that the indicator light on my XPS is flashing orange which makes me think that the problem is not with Windows.

For the meaning of the flash codes, see the troubleshooting section here

It is unsolvable problem. I had the motherboard replaced and spent hours on the phone to the techies. No luck.
It's a $4560.00 mistake. Computer is unusable for my purpose which is to operate a Creaform Peel 3 hand scanner. (They even recommend this computer)
Since bought an MSI and have not had any problems.
