XPS 15 9550 Infinite Loop after Windows 10 Reset
Hi, I have this issue of Windows 10 stuck on an infinite loop. I decided to clean up my PC for the first time after my purchase. So I went under Settings > Update & security > Recovery> Reset this PC > Get started and picked Remove Everything option. As expected, after several minutes, I got to the page where I set the initial region, input types and such. Next, WIFI setup. Then it goes to Why did my PC restart page and keeps looping between reboot and initial set up page. In between those reboots, I was able to run diagnostics. The only warning from it is battery cycle is overdue. No errors. Will I need to try to install Windows from a USB Boot up drive? If so, does it usually detect the OEM key automatically? Thanks

Download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool and extract it to a USB flash drive. You should be able to boot from that. You can select to save nothing to basically do a clean install if that is what you want. You will not be asked for a key. Your Windows key is linked to your hardware and stored by Microsoft and you should have no problem reinstalling Windows 10 anytime you want.
