XPS 15 9570 HDMI not working
Hi, So i have been using my xps for almost two years. And the problem is that the on board hdmi is not working.
The laptop is detecting it but there is no output, and I can connect to an external monitor only through an usb-c adapter.
any suggestions?

exactly. HDMI output was working fine. Suddenly stopped working in March. I bought a new monitor thinking the monitor is the issue. But, the HDMI output is the issue. Have you found a solution?

Just amazing how DELL doesnt address a 2 year old problem.
Either they don´t know how to fix it which is quite embarassing or they know and is simply too expensive to sove it and they don´t want to address it openly and handle each case one by one through private messaging..To me Dell used to be Mercedes but that was 15 years ago

Over three years now and pages of people with the same issue. Pretty embarrassing, Dell. Guess what? I have the problem, too! Funny thing is it works just fine if I boot into Linux...

This suddenly happened to me too. I don't think it's a hardware issue since it works perfectly for some monitors, and some people have told that it works with Linux. Screw Dell for not addressing this for more than 3 years.
