XPS 15 9570 - Unstable FPS

Hello,

I recently bought an XPS because my old computer started to break down. For the first few months, the computer worked just fine and was a massive upgrade from my old computer. However, after a firmware update, the computer's performance dropped and slowed down. In order to avoid further breaking the computer, I just took it to the Dell Support Center and got it fixed. Apparently it was just a problem with the drivers.

The XPS worked fine until last week, when the computer's performance  suddenly plummeted out of nowhere. I usually run CS:GO (all medium settings) at +150 fps, but now it runs at a maximum of 100 fps and occasionally drops to as low as 30-40 fps.  This originally led me to believe it might have been the game's problem, so I reinstalled the game, which didn't help anything. I then realized the same problems occurs across all games.

I searched the internet and tried to find people with similar problems. I tried all kinds of solutions. These solutions include:

.Reinstalling graphics drivers

.Resetting the computer

.Setting the games on priority mode on task manager

.Closing all of the apps that run in the background

.Undervolting the laptop

.Installing a clean copy of Windows 10 and installing all of the drivers provided on this site (This the current condition of my computer).

I am really running out of options at this point, and I can't find anymore solutions to help solve this issue. I can't really take the computer to a support center because I moved to a place that is far away from any Dell Support Centers. I have basically lost all hope in solving this issue and I am posting this to get any more suggestions to solve this issue.

I also ran benchmarks to see if the GPU or the CPU is broken, but none of them are actually broken.

These are some of the symptoms:

>Extremely Unstable FPS (sudden throttles that would cause the frames to drop by like 40 frames)

>(not sure if this helps) The graphics settings on the games always reset

>The fan sometimes get really loud as if I am running the game on really high settings

>benchmarks show the GPU and CPU are running perfectly fine

Specs:

GeForce GTX 1050Ti with Max-Q Design

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU 2.20GHz

16GB RAM

Thank you for reading through this long post. I believed that any detail would help find a solution to this problem, so I gave as much detail as I can about this computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
