xps 15 wouldn't turn on after update
Had this beautiful laptop for less than a week. It went into restart after installing an update pushed by Dell (probably a bios update). It showed a couple of the usual update progress bar screens, then shut down by itself. I pressed the power button repeatedly, also pressed it down for more than a minute. But nothing could turn it on. Please help! Thanks.

Unplug, remove the base cover and disconnect the battery.
Hold the power button for 30 sec.
Then reconnect the battery and see if it will power on. If it won't, call Dell for an exchange for a working system (I would not opt for a repair to this one -- you can request a refund/reorder or a replacement system within 30 days of shipment if you purchased the system directly from Dell).
