XPS 17 and PDF FIle Preview

Hi All,

I am using Adobe Reader DC as default PDF reader and have repeatedly set all the settings to allow PDF thumbnail previews however they still do not show up. I have them showing on my other computer without problems.

It's been suggested that there may be a background program or process interfering with this happening. Would anyone have had this issue and resolved it or know how to go about trouble shooting to find and interfering program or process?
