XPS 9315 Not Recognizing Hard Drive
My laptop suddenly stopped recognizing its hard drive a couple of weeks ago. I have checked for loose connections, but didn't find any issues. Because the hard drive is soldered to the mother board, it has bricked the computer. I paid $1500+ for this laptop in Oct 2022 and have only used it about a dozen times. Definitely not money well spent. Is there anything I can do to fix it short of replacing the entire motherboard?

Unfortunately, no - as buyers in the Mac world have known for more than a decade, these are essentially unrepairable when an onboard component fails. Further, a board will likely cost close to what the total value of the system currently has, and that's before any labor charge to replace the board.
