XPS 9520 external monitor usb-c no signal
Have A XPS 9520 that has been connected to a LG monitor. Has been working but has now stopped getting a signal. However, the laptop does recognise the monitor.
Tried reinstalling driver, generic. System doesn't detect any other monitor if I try that.
There are historical posts that this has long been an issue for Dell laptops and a usb-c connection. Tried same connection on a Dell monitor with same issue. Tried with different XPS 9550 and worked fine, same cable.
Does work as it should with Usb-c to HDMI.
Any ideas on why this has started. Been a number of updates since but not sure which one may have caused the issue.

Tried the USB-C connection again a week later after using a Display Port cable and it worked. Seems to have resolved itself.

Similar issue here with 9520. Two external monitors connected via a WD22TB4 docking station. After installing a few windows updates both monitors are not longer displaying. They're still detected by the O/S but the're no longer receving a signal. Updated nVidia drivers. No luck..

Could it be one of these two updates?
2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)
2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Yes, those were the recent updates, but it turns out that the external montores simply got turned off/disabled within the actual Intel Graphics management application. Re-enabled them there, and we're back up and running now.

Yep same issue here. Slightly concerning given the high price tag for this laptop. I have had the windows updates mentioned but no issues. until today after reboot.
As suggested, I attempted to enable both the external monitors but no luck. Is anyone uninstalling the windows updates in order to resolve this issue?

In our case rolling back Windows updates did not help at all. I ended up downloading an updated set of display drivers from Intel (not NVidia as I mentioned above) and only after that I saw inside of the Intel control panel that both monitors were "not connected". Enabled those both using that control panel application.

I have some good news after installing this update
I now have both my 2 external monitors working again. Will have to see if end up updating the Intel display drivers, if this issue returns. Thanks everyone for contributing to this post.

Dell XPS 15 9530 - same issue. Tried all the suggestions, no luck! Tried getting a new USB-C cable, no luck.
my problem seems similar though - my monitor actually shows up in the settings and windows "thinks" it is there. However, when I turn off and on the external monitor, it shows "No Signal" and "Entering power saving mode"
